SRX Suspension change??

Does this post http://www.vmax4.com/tech2.htm Still apply to a 2001 srx skid??? Did the skid change after 99?? I can get a 2001 skid for $100 with less then 3000 miles on it. This installation looks easy and it's time for a suspension upgrade.

Skids were the same from '98-'02,,8.5" of travle,,thats a steal for $100!!!

i would first go right though it,your going to have bush wore out in the
lower W arm,check it all out good before install...

WHY WASTE TIME AND PUT IN A SKID WITH NO ADDITIONAL TRAVEL? YOU CAN CONVERT THE SRX SKID TO LONG TRAVEL VIPER SPECS BY CHANGING THE SHOCKS AND LIMITER STRAP. BETTER TO JUST LOCATE AN RX 1 SKID. FOR THE SAME EFFORT YOU WOULD HAVE A MUCH BETTER RIDE.

I believe in 2000 they changed the length of the control rods for better weight transfer, that's the only differance.

Guys, I did the skid swap last year!!!!!! 03' Rx-1 skid. No comparison, can't express in words, totally different sled now.
