Ok, here is the deal. I have a plow for the jeep which I don't like to use because not only do I seem to miss the driveway, driveway has an S-curve in it, it is very hard to plow, with were the doors for the garages are. I also run out of places to push the snow after 3 or 4 snowfalls. I have a 6 horse power 24" 2 stage Ariens early 80's running really good, well it started giving me some carb trouble. I got frustrated, and quite using it. My brother had a 5 horse power 21" two stage toro, well it was mine a up at college for the house up there till 2001 than my brother took it over, well he gave it to me. The thing always starts, but it is just to small for the driveway. I just picked up a used 32" two stage 10hp ariens, thing works good clears the driveway really fast.

I told a guy at work about the 24" ariens said it wasn't running worth a crap, he offere me $70 bucks for it. I said come take a look at it, he's coming tomorrow. Well just for the heck of it I put some Sea Foam in it and it's running like a top again. Here's the situation, I have 3 good running snow blowers, I really don't need 3, just two, one for a back up you know. I don't want to sell the 24" ariens, now cause it runs really good and really throws the snow. I am not going to seel the 32". And I really don't want to sell the 21" as it has been in the family so long and done us well.

Wife says I don't need 3 one has to go, but she also says to do what I want.

What should I do?

Dilemas, Dilemas. If I were you I would dump the Toro. It has the smallest engine and smallest path.

Of course it has no sentimental value to me so I'm unbiased.

I have a 1978 5 horse power 21" two stage toro(5/21) and it's
the cats ass IMO,it's red with 3 foward speeds and two rev. all steel unit
i'd put it up aginst a newer one any day for distance in throwing snow
that little 5hp has never let me down, always started and it's an animal
with the EOD stuff, the govener kick's in and she just chews!!!!! lol

only down fall wish it had a little wider cutting path

I’ve had this type of problem before. What I do is choose the one that is my least favorite then I simply wait for the right time, in this case it would be a major snowstorm when all the stores in town are sold out of blowers and then I would advertise it at a high price. If someone buys it ok, if it doesn’t sell…oh well I didn’t really want to sell anyway.

I sold the Torho to a co-worker.
