Hey guys, I'm Mtnmax and I just found this site a couple of weeks ago. I've been a Yamaha fanatic since 1990. Moved to the mountains of Idaho, and had to own a sled. Bought a Phazer and was hooked. I began to crave more and more horsepower until I bought a 1996 V-max4 long track. Most of my riding is in the mountains where there is a lot of vertical climbs. I've had my sled ported, installed PSI quad pipes, V-force reeds, a 2" paddle track, and a highmark roller clutch. I worked at the local Yamaha shop as a snowmobile mechanic for 10 years. It's great to find so many other people with a love for the same sled. I've noticed that most of the members are from the midwest or canada. Any other Rocky Mtn boys out there? Anyway its great to meet you all. Look forward to putting my two cents worth in every once in a while.

Welcome aboard!!! we had a site problem not too long ago, and we all had to re regrister, so there are many members out there, that probley just have`nt got around to re regristering yet. anyway, glad you found us, and congrats on your "new" sled!! sounds like you have quite the beast there.

Welcome, Mtnmax. :schild27: I have to think that anyone who has been a Yamaha mechanic for 10 years will have no trouble making friends here! I'm sure your 2 cents will be worth more than that to us. Glad you found us, and I hope you enjoy your stay!

Welcome!!!! Glad to have another VMax-4 owner and Yamaha mechanic on here. I am sure you will find out, this forum has great people on here and love their Yamahas'.
