I have not seen one lately, just get the specs and make your own.

Here are the specs:
Offset 14.5-17.5mm
Center to Center 363.5-366.5mm

When I worked for Yamaha, we got all our "special tools from a company named Kent-Moore. I'll do some research and see if I can come up with a phone #, or address.

Hey Bly, Here's what I found out: The website is www.spxkentmoore.com The phone # is 1-800-345-2233. Fax # 1-800-578-7375 Give them a ring, they have anything you want when it comes to Yamaha special tools. I thought I could come up with the part #, but I found about everything but that. If you call them up they can help you. Good luck!

You can order a universal c to c and alignment tool from parts unlimited. Better yet call Richmotorsports, bet he can get ya one

The universals usually stop at the Polaris length (305mm?) and are not long enough. The v4 has the longest and unique length I have ever seen due to the PTO shaft in front of the cases. I use a pair of 24" calipers for c to c and make due with my short alignment tool...Blue

Don't doubt ya Blue. Just ordered 2 sets from the local Yam dealer, he says it should work for the max-4. Don't know for sure yet, will let ya guys know when I get it. Should be early next week. And you are right, its a hell of a distance with the pto shaft out front. Seems that damn thing haunts me everytime I try to put it into a different chassis.
