Hi fellows,

Here is another good DIY device to monitor your engine. I made this in same packet with my Lambda indicator. Use 9v battery or something similar for stability voltage suply.

You need circuit board and few components + knock sensor

If you use poor fuel or if you have high compression and octane level is too low, motor knock/ping and you find marks from your piston/head like there is sandblast some material off.
Same kind of sensor is installed in most of new sleds and it will retard ingnition when 'Ping' happens
