That's right boys and girls. Attica Central Schools (yes the prison town) in western NY has had to close due to the lake effect snow they are getting. Up to 12" expected in places today. It's here...Blue:party:

DUDE, IF WE GOT THAT HERE YA COULD NOT RIDE ANYWAYS. TRAILS ARE CLOSED UNTIL DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS. MY GUESS IS THOUGH NOT MANY WOULD LISTEN, AND THATS WHERE TROUBLE STARTS. !! 3:16 (tony)

Just took a buddies POS Indy 500 for a ride around the property, not enough snow here for my sled yet but it got the blood flowing!:sled:

The trail system in Michigan doesn't officially open until Dec. 1st. I believe that there are very limited hours that you can ride the trails before that, in the afternoon, and in the middle of the night. That's so you don't upset the deer hunters who are walking around in the woods with high powered rifles. Personally, I wouldn't want to be out there yet, but my brother has done it before. I'm sure vmax4rules could tell us more, but he's probably out riding right now.

That is sweet Blue, We've got about 6" on the ground here in Idaho. Maybe twice that much in the surrounding mountains. Like Master said, It gets the blood flowing. Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Just some light dustings of snow here where I'm from. Weather for the next 5 days show that more snow is on the way!!!!

I am praying for a blizzard to come....

i love living out west! no waiting for trails to open, pull the cord hit the ditchs and hand out a few free yama-spankings!:tease:

lol i sure love the look you get when you pass a car (doing 110 km or 65 mph) in a ditch with a sled

Most trail systems here "Officially" open the day after regular gun deer season ends. Before that, you can ride marked trails from dusk til dawn when the hunters are gone for the night. It can vary from club to club...Blue

As for the trails Shark is correct, you cannot ride during peak hunting hours.
