I Have a chance to get 4 wiseco pro-lite pistons and rings and pins for my spare 800 motor , they are .010 oversize and part # 2360p1 for $230 canadian shipped to my door, would this be a good deal?

$230's not a bad price but if they're .010 over stock and you have to get your jugs oversized, that kinda takes away from the deal doesn't it. Also, once your oversized, your stuck with that size now for other pistons. Just my thoughts.

Yeah the price seems good, why are .010 pistons hard to find or an oddball size? Just wondering, are the 800 cylinders a regular cast iron bore?

Good deal to me
The bores are aluminum plated with Nicasil. Adrien Bernard in Canada charges $280 per cylinder to replate. You can probably get them done in the US for a lot less but then there is the shipping and customs issues. I would say that you'd be better off with OEM pistons and bore size.

That might cost a little... I didnt even think you could bore that, when it was aluminim plated, with nicasil.. The guy at the sled shop, must of meant we were better of going with an 800 motor, than boring to an 800

I agree with Ken, try to stick with the OEM bore, re-nicasil is expensive and can take awhile. Rarely is it really necessary, that's some hard stuff. I'd just put some fresh cross-hatch in em and stick with stock bore if at all possible.
