8BU belts? YammieGod? [Archive]

I'm looking at some belts here. Is there a difference between the 8BU-00 and the 8BU-01? I was running last year on an 8BU-00 and was wondering if thats not the best belt? Thanks

DUDE THE 8BU-00 BELT WAS THE YAMAHA PART # FOR THE 800 VMAX4. NOW, REMEBER THIS WAS WHEN THE 750 89A-00 BELT WAS STILL AVAILABLE. SINCE THAN YAMAHA DROPED THAT 89A BELT AND SUPERSEEDED IT INTO THE # 8BU-01. 8BU BELTS ARE THE SAME COMPOUND AND MEASUREMENTS. YOUR FINE!! 3:16 (tony)

LOL! I think it melted off in that last run.. And I don't think it was getting much grip, it was sliding all over the place with all that gooey glazing
