2009 Race Scedule

I would like some information on speed runs and/or ice drags held in Illinois or Michigan in February 2009. I live in Ohio and will probably be traveling to Michigan the first and second week of February to do some riding. I need specific information and dates or direct me to a web site that has it. If anyone has a bed and breakfast or cabin for rent near any major events please let me know. Thanks in advance. Don

Twisting Trails snow braves have a vintage show/radar run on January 17th. They are on the west side of the state. Last year the snow didn't cooperate. They got about 4 inches the night before the show, but that was all the snow on the ground. They run radar runs that are pretty amusing to watch. People run anything down the strip. It's not a "major" event, but it is still fun. They have a clubhouse with a huge fire pit and a big chunk of property that you can ride around on. There was not a single V-Max 4 there last year. Mine was not ready!

The world series of drag racing will be held in Gaylord Michigan again this year at the airstrip. I believe the dates are Feb 13th, 14th and 15th
