I bought this through Ebay a month or so ago for the PSI pipes and swell aftermarket goodies on it, with plans to strip it and swap them to my 96.
I recieved it about 2-3 wks ago and was amazed at this things condition.
It really is practically brand new! Cleanest used sled Ive EVER seen! So Im keeping my hands off it and keeping it for my wife. ( I still got the pipes though )
It came from Montana, jetted for 6000+ ft. The guy shipped it in a factory crate even. There are good people left in the world!

Nice clean sled, do you mind if I ask what you paid for it?

I paid $1025 for the sled and an embarrasing amount for trucking $1300 - pretty funny, huh? Well worth it though as far as I am concerned.

Heres the deal though, this things loaded with fun stuff - lite hood - 2" camo - xtra large rear xchanger - GY-T shocks - Quads - 94 clutches with a high altitude setup - slp skis ......., and the guy said the motor was recently rebuilt before he had fell into it, by who? he didnt know. any internal motor work? he didnt know. 2300 miles is on the odo.

rivets are intact on the head gasket - base gasket looks to be stock thickness, BUT theres a stamping on the chainside head thats got me perplexed!?

PSI 62514

any thoughts as to what this could be for or from?

lol i would like to know why there is a 94 side panel on it!

i have the more trashed version of it!

why are the idler wheels so bigat the drop bracket?

it was probly from the long tracking and larger lugs. after modifying it, the track cant be tightened all the way, dont ask why tho im not too sure. mine has this too.

Which one is the 94 side panel? Thanks for the pics and info on the big wheels Busted Max, Its nice to see another one, Im not to familiar with these 750s and even less with the long tracks.

So your suspicion would be that PSI may have had there hands in the motor and stamped it for I.D. ?
Has anyone had any work done by them before? Do they stamp there handy work like that?

Thanks Ike, Ill try to find something out from them when I can get ahold of them.

PSI did stamp #'s on some of the work they did for me back in the day.

no problem. bigger wheels just make a easier fit i find. you could probly change them to proper ones. my sled was modded when i got it. it just looks kinda funny. when i modded my 600ST i didnt change anything but the mounting holes and 8 tooth extroverts. i guess the guy who had it before might of screwed up mounting it.

the panel thats the 94 is the right side. look at my pic its a 94.

Ohhh, now I see the difference in the graphics. The 94 is more of a scribble pattern. I never wouldve picked up on that. Thanks for the info there. You know whats weirder than just that panel being a 94, is that the tunnel graphics on that same side must be from a 94 also. They have that same scribble pattern, and the other side has the 93 pattern. Hmmm....weird!?
