VMAX-4 Additional Fuel Tank

Can anyone tell me if there is a kit or known mod to add another tank to a 93 VMAX-4?

Two red Jerry Cans with saddle bags and a GPS with "the nearest gas station "function key on it.Just kidding.I did hear of a mod in the `90,to remove the glove compartment and install a tank.Fuel Buddy doesnt make one either.Very cool sled,but drinks the gas.

somewhere in the old threads I found a guy that had custom made an auxillary tank and it was under the seat.

If you look way back somewhere in the old threads you may find it.

Some here on this site have done the switch to a 12 gallon from a SRX style sled. Somewhere in the Eagle River, WI area there is a small fabricating shop that advertised on there website that they made custom aluminum tanks for snowmobiles. Berkelman Metalworks is the name of the place. Maybe if a person gutted the seat they could extend the tank back further like the tank replacements for the Arctic cat 440 sno pro's.
