Heat Warmers - Hand & Feet

Have any of you used hand or feet warmers? What brand have you used? Do you think they work?

A buddy of mine had those electric feetwarmers that you plug in and he loved them. I don't remember what the brand was. He's one of those "always cold" guys so for him to say he was nice and toasty on a ride impressed the heck out of me.
