So, it has begun. Finally.
My brother and I try to restore a rare snowcross Vmax-4. This sled was raced in the 92-93 season here in the national snowcross series. it did not win the series on that season, but came close though. It was raced by Tuomo Forsell, the champ from the season before. He won his championship on a mod 635cc Exciter. That thing used some engine parts from a Yamaha Waverunners... Talk about crossbreeding!

It had hand built frame, PPS skid (like the one used today in LYNX snowmobiles) and another parts. Too many to list here. Tunnel is 2 inch (5 cm) narrower than the stock etc. Heavily reinforced front and steering.
It used stock 750 engine with bender twin pipes and cans. K&N filters replaced the air boxes.
