vmax4 questions

im looking into buying a vmax4 i currently have a vintage vmax 540 i like the vmax4 but how is the fuel and oil consumption on them my 540 gets about 60-70 miles on a tank of gas wanted something with more range on a tank of fuel. by the way awesome website. heres another vmax website some of you might be interested in vintagevmax.com

The big 4's do like to drink. Problem is that it's just to damn hard to back your thumb off the throttle.

oil can be tuned back to be pretty good but gas is another story 7-10 depending on clutching, riding conditions your thumb,mods,etc.

If you want mileage look at the twin cylinder sleds, if you want something fast then check out the triples, if you want something that requires you to hold on for dear life, then get a VMAX-4.

I get 10 with mine, no matter how hard we ride it. Been that ways since we have had it (93). When you seen 100mi on the trip, you best be sitting in front of the pump! lol.
