I just bought a 92 vmax 4 and it seems to run rich. Cleaned the carbs and still seems rich on the bottom end. Its all stock. Does anybody know a leaner jetting spec for it?

Take your carbs off and adjust your air to fuel mixture its on the bottom of your carbs turn them all the way in and back them out 1 3/4 turns I just did mine and it runs perfect...

drop your needles down one or two positions that will fix your problem

I am running 47.5 and 135's on my 94, and works great

Check your O-rings on the needle/seat assy.I had two dried up,small and leaky ones that stumped me years ago.Do this before you lean your jetting.Clean those carbs, turn them upside down, and pull on fuel inlet like a straw, using your mouth and then cap it with your tongue. You'll tell right away if leaky, as it wont hold vacuum. If there good ,it might give your tongue a little hickie, hahaha, honestly.Anybody else notice how stale gas really stings taste buds? hahahaha.O-ring can be had at local NAPA store for cheap.

Also make sure your 92' has had the jetting updated, they were rich out of the box.

My sled had 133's and 47.5's in it, and it was too lean with this ethanol in the gas. I went to 137's, in my 92 and my dad's 92, and both run great, and get almost 10 mpg on good surface's.
