I was just talking with a friend of mine from Lachute Quebec. They are planning a ride from there to Winnipeg and back in February. Apparently they have done this before but to me it seems like a loooooong ride.
Anyone out that way ever rode to the east?

Now that is a ride, just a fast estimet it will take about 5 days to get to Winnipeg, it takes 2 1/2 days to cross the province of Ontario by car.
After Val-dore Quebec, you are on your own, places to stop for fuel are fare and wide. You can put your new machine to the test.
If you go, good luck and hats off to you and your riding buddies.

Last year we started in Val D'or and rode to Chibougamau, then down to Roberval, then back accross to Val D'or. That was about 1200 miles. Can't imagine riding to Winnipeg and back. Are you in Western Quebec or closer to Montreal?

Hey Jersy
I live in the Lanaudiaire reagon, north of Joliette , in a small town called Ste- Beatrix the trail 349 passes 150 ft from my house, I spent the summer converting (building) our house that us to be our summer & winter getaway.
From my house to Le Cabanon is about 1 1/2 hour ride.
If your ever in the area drop in for a good hot cup of java (coffee).
