We actually had thanksgiving dinner on Saturday because its easier for the whole family to get together. Was done in the oven but if it would have been my choice it would have been deep fried for sure.

Nothin better than deep fried, its soo much juicer, as long as you're on top of the deep fryer keepin the temperature right.

Tony, Once you have it deep fried, you will never want it in the oven again !!!!!!!!!! Its not oily at all.

We had ours in the oven. Every year the turkey is done different but in my opinion, I would have to go with smoked or fried - way better then in the oven!

For our Thanksgiving supper we had a roast this year instead of turkey.

I love both smoked and oven baked, very differnt tastes, you just have to make sure you don't leave it in the smoker too long otherwise it will get dry, but if done right it is extremelly juicy and wow what a taste! Haven't had deep fried yet, but would love to.
