Went to the COSDRA Races in Gaylord Saturday

Here are a few pics from the races yesterday in Gaylord, MI. Wish I had more but the races were shut down early due to 'too much snow' according to the guys running the show. They couldn't keep the track cleaned off very well with the constant dumping they were getting....very cold also.

These jumps were huge and I expected to see carnage, but thankfully nobody was hurt....at least not while I was there Saturday....

Constant snow throughout the day!! Normally that's a good thing but it was so bad the racers were having trouble seeing the finish line/cones....not good

This is something I may try in the future.. You had to complete a 30 mile trail ride and then compete in a 660' drag race. I think I could have done OK, but there was a Turbo Rx1 that ate up the field!! You can see it in the far lane of the first pic.

Also, there are a few shots on the way out after it was cancelled......

We had the same problem at the Dirty Turtle on Sat. My second pass I actually couldn't see the finish line beam boxes until I got out about 150-200 feet. The track was very narrow too maybe ten feet wide. The crosswind was terrible.

Thanks for all the pictures! We drove up North on Saturday and it was whiteout blizzard conditions from Grayling across to Traverse City. Too bad they had to cancel a snowmobile race because there's too much snow. :beathead::bash1::frech32::confused:

Yea, it was pretty blizzard like at the airport Saturday. I think next year I may make it a weekend and see the complete show....
