My '92 has a 1" drive axle ...

when did it switch to the larger size (1 1/16 or 1 1/8)?

Does anyone have a big one they'd sell ..?

Will an 1 1/8 axle out of some other machine work..?

A stock 92 vmax4 measures .995, so you must have a newer one to be a true 1". why would you want to go bigger?

In 94 I believe they went with a heavier axle in the 750, the axles are also heavier in the 800's. I'm not sure if they are a direct bolt in, maybe someone else will have the answer.

The 1994 & up Vmax-4's use 8BW-W4751-00-00 AXLE, FRONT - 93306-30560-00 BEARING, LOWER and 93102-25081-00 OIL SEAL, LOWER

The lower oil seals are all the same and the same for the lower bearing minus the model year 1993 (93306-30537-00 BEARING, LOWER) not sure what the difference is?

They interchange.... I just installed an 800 chain case and secondary in my '92 750 and the smaller 750 shaft fits in the case and bearing. I'm trying to find a larger axle and not having much luck so far.

I also did the same thing.
