Does anyone know what colors where offered? Just red or was black also an option? What are the differences between the 3? Any info is greatly appreciated!!
97 had long travel proaction rear susp., and hydrolic brakes....95 was black, 96 was red, think the 97 was red as well. I didn't think black was an option in 96 &97...But don't know that as fact either.

CLUTCHING IN 95-96 WAS EXACT. 97 WAS SLIGHTY DEFFERENT. ALSO 97 HAD HYD BRAKE. AND THERE WAS NO COLOR OPTIONS ON THESE EXCEPT TO CHANGE COLOR OF YOUR WINDSHIELD IN 96-97. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Are all the blue ones that you see at races just custom paint jobs to match Tim Benders blue one? I noticed a lot of blue ones at the Port Huron Outlaw races.
Mine will be a GM paint color, stealth grey metallic with a 2 part clear coat and custom red graphics when I get done with it. My Chassis was painted last summer.

I had a guy at a local body shop that does painting on the side tell me that he had some left over purple Dodge Prowler paint. I was going to have him paint it Purple and have the Grape Ape, 1980's cartoon character, airbrushed on the hood and "Raped Ape" painted on the sides of the tunnel, but I decided against that!

BENDER DID NOT HAVE THE '' TEAM BLUE '' YAMAHA VMAX 4. HAUCK DID THAT. BENDERS VMAX 4 WAS HIS RACE COLOR RED, BLACK AND WHITE. 3:16 (yammie tony)
