ok , this is my question, i understand the difference between a longrod and everything but my question is will it make a huge difference if i did so to my vmax?

No.In fact it will hurt it.Small bore small stroke.the closer you are to the same ratio the better.hence the short stroker motors that are outlawed now.The v-4 has a nice set up now short stroke to work with the 66mm bore to functionly fill the chamber at a quick equal rate.
