Prepping my 800 for storage. Dumped some Sta-Bil in and let it idle for a bit. After about 3-4 minutes the clutch started squeeling and continued to get louder. Any ideas what is up with it?

Most aftermarket belts I've tried have been just a bit too wide. The only one that's worked properly and lasted more than 50 miles is the Yamaha 8BU belt. If you're using an aftermarket belt, could be the clutch isn't fully released from the belt. Just a thought.

Could also be a broken spring in the primary. Might want to pull the cap and check that. I assume your idle is set low enough that it isn't too high of an idle.
Also check clutch alignment, maybe your offset is out and it is rubbing on one sheave.
Also check where the belt is sitting in the secondary. Could be sitting too high in secondary making it tighter than it should be.
