I'll share a little story with you guys!
Before I smashed my 95 800, I took a buddy of mine out one day while I was working on the clutching to get it dialed in. He hasn't had a sled in a few years, but used to have polaris storms. After taking the vmax for a run, he came back with a huge grin on his face and said "why would young fellows do drugs when you can get a rush like that. My knees are still shaking."
I told him he should pick up another Storm so we could ride together. He said " I don't want a Storm, I want one of them. My Storms would not even come close to that."
He thanked me when I dropped him off and said it was a real treat to get on something like that. He said "I'm serious, I've never seen anything work like that. It's like riding a crotch rocket. You should be proud that you've built that engine and have it working like that."
I know he was being gracious, but it still gives you satifaction and makes you feel good.
