They're a pain to install, but I like the clean look. Somebody here said they put theirs in the oven to warm them up so they were easier to handle, but left one in too long and melted it. Gotta get those channels straightened out before you start, and have a lot of patience.

MIKE, DON,T DO IT. PINK WAS ONLY ON 92 AND ARE EXTREMELY RARE. SHARK, THESE ARE $158 EACH IF YOU CAN EVEN FIND THEM AT A YAMAHA DEALERS. NO OVEN FOR ME. 3:16 (yammie tony)

$158 EACH?!?! Holy crap, Tony! :3speechle:3speechle:3speechle I hope they're made of gold and not plastic!

My '93 came with the pink skins. They weren't cheap back then, and they're almost impossible to find now. Dennis Kirk had a clearance on them many years ago, so I bought 6 sets at about $50/set. Still got a few in the trailer. I also found a place a long time ago that had the pink slides for about $4/each. I called and they were out, but another place had them and advertised they would match any price. I called and the guy said "sure I'll match that price, how many you want?". I told him 24. He said "24 slides?". I said no, 24 pair. He about crapped his pants. He ended up sending me 18 pair, that's all he had. It's getting harder to find those deals anymore. Gotta grab 'em when you see 'em!

Pink skins here, but they're the ones that cover the whole bottom of the ski:

Couldn't find any red ones, but if you find the 3/16" Sno-Stuff, they should work. The pink ones I have are Sno-Stuff and they fit nice and snug.

Yea i know but mine are ALL used up, and the skis have the oversized black covers now.

IMO they look so much better with the OEM skins. I figured I'd never find the pink ones what is why I asked about red.
