Yammiegod: I forget which primary spring you told me to run in my 96 with stock weights. I bought a few last season but can't remember. I have a White-white-white, and a white-silver-white, and a white-yellow-white. The secondary spring is green. The helix is a Dalton not sure of the degrees but it was the one you said to run. Just had the Max out for a spin. Smoked an SRX from 60 roll on to over 110. It's running great. All the plugs came out in perfect color.

I took it apart. Yes I hava a Dalton 49 / 43 helix. I had a blue spring in it today, I am sure it is a Hauck blue one. I was engaging at about 4500 and maxing out at 8800 ( I think ) . It was hard to tell going over 100 on the road. Are there two different height springs? Some of the Yamaha one I have are taller than others. Should the WWW one I need be the same approx height as an SRX spring?
Thanks Tony!!!!!!!!!!!

Stock pipes, no cylinder raise trick. I have not installed the Holtzman Tempa flow yet, but Dean said that it did wonders for his fuel mileage.
I noticed that the primary clutch did go to full shift with the blue spring from the wear marks. Tomorrow I am going to install the WWW spring with 2 shims and the 49 / 43 helix at 6 / 1.
