di yamaha make a red handlebar pas for the sx 700????? I am looking for one for my 800, or was there aftermarket ones made? like bender, rpc?

I know I remember seeing red and yellow pads, they were yellow on the top. Not sure about all red though.

Had a red one on my viper with a sealable pocket to fit your ownership, wallet, etc. Its in the accessory book. One thing though it isn't leather its like the material of your cover (canvas like) it did fade over time but I liked it it had a nice yamaha racing logo on it.

Not a good pic, but I think you can get an idea. In that thing there is a pocket and big YAMAHA text in white. It also says "world leading technology".
I bought it from a Yamaha dealer. Fit perfectly. I left the original leather one underneath.

So Ike that pad has yellow on the front of it????? how much did you paya Yamaha for that? and is it made to go on the outside if the stock pad?

It has a yellow stripe on it. And you can use it with or with out the stock pad. With the stock pad it fits IMO better. I´ll take new pics of it soon as I can ( just woke up you know.. LOL :bum: )
I paid 30 euros for it. But everything is more expensive here I think. That zipper pouch in that pad is very useful.
