congrats!! sled looks GREAT!!

just to add...dropping the E clip would richen up the mix (lowering/dropping the "E clip" would raise the needle)..
rasing the E clip would lower the needle, effectively, leaning out the mids..

PSI's installed...sounds awesome...put 145 mains in and took it for a run on the lake...plugs look great..also installed VForce reeds...runs great! Worst part of the install...getting the airbox boots back on lol...not the best engineered setup!!

I find that removing the airbox lid and shelf make it a much easier process.

Ya know its funny..I read about this plan before, but never tried it, not sure why, but anyway, since 2004, I`ve pulled the carbs off my 95 a few times, and recently the 96 also..
I got the 96 back together, boxes and all..was a PITA as usuall...then when I went to do my 95, I was having a heck of a time, like i usually do, and decided to go ahead and pull the top of the boxes and shelves...turns it out it made it WAY easier..i can`t believe, I`ve been doing it the hard/agravating way all this time, when it could have been simplified so easily..LOL

i got a 96 v-max 800 looking to do some mods to it, i was looking into the reeds, and pipes, i do not really do any racing just alot of trail riding wit the guys, would any mods improve gas mileage or will it kill it even more i usually get around 70 miles to a tank
