Well I had Br8's was told too hot a plug for my V-Max. So I put in Br9's under the cab of the sled there's a specification tune up sticker. Says to use BR9ES.

B9ES NGK, GET THEM AT ANY AUTO PARTS STORE. ! 3:16 (tony)
BR9ES NGK for me. Never so far to foul a plug.

Make it another vote for NGK BR9ES solid caps.

It's another vote for BR9ES solid caps.
My local auto parts place ran out on me last year when i had to change a fouled plug, so i went with a champion RN3C, i changed them all to the champion until i got around to going back to the br9es. anyway, no problems with either.

I run Br9es's, usually, sometimes I run an 8, and have ran a 7 before... Fouled the 7, 8, and 9.. Not going to take the chances with a 6

If you're fouling BR9's you have problems.
If you're fouling BR7's you have BIG problems.

I run at a big variation in altitude(6000-10000ft.) At higher altitudes the sled runs richer, and I will occasionally foul a plug. I've found that running a BR9EV solves that problem. It's designed with a smaller electrode and seems to resist fouling. In fact, I dont remember ever fouling one. Problem is that they are about three times more expensive than the BR9ES. Anyone else tried these? What results have you had? I also agree with MOF, If you're fouling B7's, you've got other problems.

I use NGK BR9EV Yes they are more expensive and worth every penny.
They dont load up like the BR9ES does sometimes. The EVs are a nice, crisp firing plug.

try the new revised version of the BR9EV to the new iridium BR9EIX just awsome...! the iridium electrode will turn cherry red and then instanly cool right down so there no chances of pre-ignition...! they sell for about 7.95 canadian.

b9ev for me,found the plug easier to read.
Talking about plug fouling... I blew TWO BR9ESīs tonight. First time I change plugs to my Vmax4. LOL
Ike
Finally got around to installing the BR9EIX Iridium plugs. All I can say is WOW! Very efficient plug and I can notice a big difference between these and the regular BR9ES.
If you can handle the price (nearly 3x of a BR9ES) you'll be happy with the results.

Br9es for me. Solid tops Prefered but I also use the others kind with a cap that occasionally likes to FALL OFF!!!!
http://www.snowtechmagazine.com/:The one substitution that is NOT recommended is to use the NGK BR9EYA in anything other than applications that specify this plug. This spark plug is primarily found in Arctic Cat two-stroke applications.
My friend has a f-6 and it runs the Br9eya. He didn't have any so he used two of my br9es. They fouled out right away. He got the right plugs the next day and the sled ran great. Another guy I know, doesn't know anything and got three 9eya for his 90's polaris triple. He made it three houses down from his driveway and his sled died. I went and looked at it and the two outside plugs were not firing. I put br9es in and it ran perfect. SNOWTECH said it right. Run the 9eya in a arctic cat.

had an issue with my choke and fouled all four plugs. went to autozone and was gong to buy 8 br9es NGKs.they only had 5.i wanted two full sets. usually if i change, i change em all, so i asked what they had compairable to an NGK and they gave me a DENSO plug that was supposed to be [compairable]well i put em in and fired right up.after less than amile down my road it started actin up.took it back put the new set of NGKs i had bought and 150 miles later not an issue! forever NGK!!!
