99 SRX REAR SUSPENSION
This is my 92 V-MAX 4 with 99 SRX Pro Action rear suspension.
Click photos for enlarged view.
#1 Rear Mount has been taken off and remounted 4 1/2 inches forward from the original position.
#2
Number 2 is the center upper idler shaft, it has been re-drilled 8 1/2 inches back from the original front mount and 4 1/2 inches down from the top of the tunnel. (directly below where the seat and dash cowling meet)
http://vmax4.com/files/tech2_files/susdiagram.jpg (http://vmax4.com/files/tech2_files/susdiagram.jpg) NOTE :: 99 SRX suspension is roughly 1/2 inch narrower then the stock 92 V-Max skid, so spacers must be fabricated to make up the difference. 1/4 inch for each side. #3 Front H arm mount is relocated to under the hood in front of the foot rest.
More photos and measurements to follow.
