How loose or tight should the track be with an upgraded proaction be for the Vmax-4? Right now it's loose it hangs about an inch or more with no weight pulling it down. But there is very little drag on the track and it rolls easaly. If I tighten it up any more than that it makes a big difference on the easy of the track rolling. Also I'm woried about Balooning at high speeds. As we all know the track kind of baloons to a larger size when at high speeds and I don't want the studs to hit the tunnel. Do I stick with the factory spec of a 20 pound weight pulling the track down with about 1 inch of space between the track and the skid?

Since I don't runs studs, my 2 cents might not mean anything, but on my SRX if you set the track tension where the book tells you to you will be changing slides every 150 miles. I run mine very loose, almost 2 inches at the middle of the rail, again no studs. Also I was told to tighten the front limiter until there is about one inch of thread showing. It does not ratchet at all. Slides now last over 1000 mi. With studs you might have no choice since when braking they will chew the front of the tunnel.

If thats the case I'm right om the money with it. As long as it does not rachet I'm fine.
