DSL here. Did a test before switching from cable and was just as fast. Saved some money while surfing.

whatever yahoo DSL would fall under?That is technicly dial up with a dedicated line going to your modem.that is why your or the installer has put filters on all the other phone jacks in your house.It is what I had to do when I had DSL and it was as unreliable as dial up.I subscribed for a year anb it was down more than up.I will never not have cable again.JMO
