i BOUGHT A VMAX 4 IN 93 FROM PARK FALLS YAMAHA DEALER AFTER TRADING IN MY 92 EXCITER SX, WOW WHAT AN ANIMAL THIS SLED WAS,ACTUALLY THE VMAX WAS A TEST SLED THAT CAME FROM THE YAMAHA TEST FACILITY IN NORTHERN WISCONSIN AND HE HAD INFORMED ME THEY RADARED IT AT 107 IN A 1000 FT WITH SOME MODIFICATIONS DONE IT STILL RETAINED STOCK PIPES ETC.I WAS KING OF THE LAKE DRAGS I SOLD THE SLED INTO THE FOLLOWING YEAR AFTER PUTTING ON 1500 MILES OR SO AND NEVER HAD A SLED SINCE DUE TO GEOGRAPHICAL CHANGES. LAST WEEK I FINALLY GOT ANOTHER ONE AND HAVE BEEN GOING THRU IT TO GET HER READY AND THINKING I MAYBE BOARD BEING IT IS COMPLETELY STOCK WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A X10 SUSPENSION. ANYWAY JUST SAYING HI AND BACK IN THE VMAX SADDLE.
