Hope you`all have a great one...Stay safe!!!

just a quick little new years related story...
back in 1999, on new years eve, I had a pretty big party...and as I`m sure you`all remember, there was all that talk of things crashing, computors, power grids etc..
anyway, right as it struck midnight, I had a friend of mine, hit the main breaker..rock`in sterio all the lghts etc, suddenly went dead.....hahahaha..was funny as heck..everyone was trippin..lol, he kicked it back after maybe 30 seconds, but it was funny as heck..

really woulda been screwed if the power had actually gone out..
probley would have been alot of improper behaviour going on..hahahaha

I had a huge y2k party 300 people and thought about doing the same but figured someone might have gotten hurt. Great fireworks. At about 4:30 am I sent out a mass email that everything was fine except that my ice machine was not y2k compliant and had died. Actually got more than 1 email back asking why i didnt upgrade or patch it to prevent this from happening.... Some people are alive to be taken advantage of...... y2k complient ice machine HA.... the sucky part was cleaning up the mess the next day

Spending the evening with my lovley girlfriend Dana and her son Brody.Brody is tired,cranky ad ready for bed.This shoul give us a chsnce to figure out this darn transformer toy!Its friggin insane how many folding,bending plastic things going every which way.Neither of us with pictures and the directions can figure it out,close but no cigar.Let me know if you had the same amount of frustration with a silly toy.
Sorry Al far from a party story but still a NYE experience!

Happy New Year! :fest30::fest30:

Big Al, you're too sensitive. I can't imagine ANY improper behavior going on at a party hosted by you.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

So Eric, did you get the upgrade patch for your ice machine yet? :confused:

Happy New Year, when the clock hit 12 last night I was sitting on my sled in the woods with my g/f. Pretty good way to rock the new year I think. You could hear guns going off in the distance, people just letting ya know what time it is I guess! I couldnt have imagined it much better. Happy New Years all! Where were you?

that would be cool rust..

I was in the hospital...my dad had a real hard time breathing. so we ended up calling 911...I stayed up there until about 5am this morning...he`s still up there..not sure what the heck is going on..he has COPD (cronic obstructive pulminary disorder) basicaly enphazema (spelling).. but last night something was wrong, he felt like he may be having a heart attack or something..we had pretty much the entire family here when it happen..which was about 11pm, give or take..
anyway, they did`nt like the heart reading etc they were getting, so they kept him...getting ready to head back up there in a little while..
