I´ve been looking that 49/43 for a while now. And it seems that I better buy it new, since there aren´t that many on the market... LOL:cussing:

So, what is the best place to get a helix for my sled? Money / quality wise?
Hauck said they´ll charge 150$ for it(emailed them), Dalton seems the a bit cheaper with their 120$.

PROBLEM WITH A 51-43 IS WHEN YA INCRESE THAT FIRST # YOUR SHIFTING CLUTCHES FASTER, AND FOR A FAST TRAIL KIT THAT MIGHT ALITTLE HARSH. THATS ACTUALLY A GOOD HELIX FOR RACING. 49-43 REALLY WORKS SMACK DEAD ON FOR ALL AROUND USE. ! 3:16 (tony)

So, I ordered the Hauck G ( 49-41 ) from Richierich. Not quite the "YammieGod special" but close. I also got 45-37 and 43-35 from my friend to test and tune. I don´t want to spend too much since it´s Christmas time and the kids come first...

So, we´ll be testing soon as I get all the parts. SRX 700 vs. Vmax4 MMax.

Any ideas before testing? What of theese helixes should give me the best backshift and performance on trail?

Hey Yammiegod, would a GYT-R progressive 48/42 helix work......or just go get the 49/43 helix???

SHURE IT WOULD WORK, WHEN I WAS TESTING I FOUND THE 49-43 WORKED THE BEST. IF YOU CAN STAY IN THAT AREA, YOU WILL BE FINE. IKE NO DOUBT THE 49/41. 3:16 (tony)

Advant-edge motor sports in Ontario has the best helixes on the market...they are nickel plated like haucks so they are easier on buttons, especially if you have to run extreme secondary twist(pressure) in your secondary....they also have a brass bushing that doesn't wear out in the first 1000km. They are very conservative on their first numbers...ie a 51/43 would actually be a 56/44 in a yamaha design or any other company.
