Where is the best place to wire in your heated visor?Iknow its not the battery!!!LOL!

i was going to ask the same question but i ihave a 92 vmax-4 and wanted the same feature.

You should be able to take power from the brake light feed under the handlebar pad. Run the ground down the bars and find a chassis location...Blue

couldnt you just tap it in with the grip and tump warmers so this way its on a switch???

I agree with rwaboy, I have both my sleds shield hookups wired that way. Except I tap in under my seat. Blue wire (hot brake light)and Black wire (ground).

I believe the grip warmers run on AC voltage, I glanced at my wiring diagram and without really studying it I didnt notice a rectifier/regulator in the diagram aywhere, just straight off the magneto!

The problem you will have running off the hand warmer circuit is that there will not be enough power for all of those items dude. You get full brake light power for your visor until you hit the brake. The juice is free to use without oveloading the circuit...Blue

ok so im going to tap it off the brake light i just need to see pics were everyone mounted ther plug. I have the hjc that came with the wiring and think im going to hide the plug in the pad for the handle bars?? there nothing to cover the plug end so if i dont use the sheild it will be exposed to the weather?? I'll have to get creative on this one ill post pics when done.
