So i buy a new belt for the ole lady`s pol. and its suppose to be
1 3/8~1.380in in width. but when I got home and measured it, it was 1/8 too narrow. even acording to the label on the box, its suppose to be 1 3/8. so i go back to the place i got it from, and start measuring the other ones they have hanging on the rack, and then ALL measure 1 1/4. so what the heck is the deal with this? I even measured a couple differant belts (differant aplication belts) and they were about the same thing. Is it just me, or would you say 1/8 too narrow is a pretty big deal? thats like its already past the wear limit, and i have`nt even put it on yet. is it posible that it warms up/breaks in, ect. and swells? LOL, well that has got to be one of the dumbest things I`ve said on here yet, but i just dont get why ALL the belts are pretty much the same amount more narrow than what the label says thier suppose to be? Thanks for any and all thoughts! AL P

They were not OEM belts I assume? Aftermarket will say this will fit 20 models and they will work but like crap! Buy an OEM, just watch Ebay for deals...Blue

You got me. they were after market. a 1 3/8 width, is a very common width for belts, you`d think they could atleast get it closer than 1/8 off.
Thanks for the reply. AL P
