K&N Filters

Could you run K&N's instead of the airbox? I dont think so, but might be wrong.

there`s members on here that run pod filters instead of the air boxes...they will probley see this eventually and post..

but in the mean time, about the only thing i can add, is that it was said that the air boxes on our vmax 4`s, are "tuned air boxes", so they should perform better then pods...(all stock considering?)....also, with the stock air boxes, your pulling in cold air from outside of the hood, where as with pods, you`d be pulling warm air radiating from the motor...
so at the very least, their would be some jetting work needed?
