Do you know if the belly pan protechtors/skid plates for a vmax 500/600 94 through 96 will work on a vmax 4??

I ask this before, and someone posted a link to a black one for a vmax 4, but it was pretty expensive...so I`m wondering if anyone out there has tried one made for the 94-96 vmax 500/600`s??

Thanks..

Goin' on memory,,,,, I think that's what I got on my mountain 92. Re-rivet pattern should be easy enough...

Al I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the vmax-4 front end is longer. The hoods aren't interchangeable because the 500 hood is too short.

Yeah I think your right about it being longer....but i wonder if it would still fit half way decent, and only be an inch or two short in the rear?

See, my belly pan, is`nt trashed, but does have a few issues...aparently I hit something along the way over the years, and when i first started cleaning it up this year, i seen I have a pretty good split in it, right near the frame..there`s no damage to the frame at all, its just that the plastic has got a split or two...

I found a real good deal on a belly pan, and the color i want, which I`ve been looking for, forever!!

a friend of mine has a 1996 yamaha vmax 600, and lives less then a mile from me, maybe I`d stop by his house, and take some measurements..

Thanks for the reply`s guys..

Mine.

I think it is for a 600/500 Vmax, but works. Nose of the V4 is longer, so the skid plate does not cover the front of the tunnel.
