Bender quads versus Hauck Howlers

What do you think. Is there that much difference between the two. I never seen any dyno sheets on the howlers. I know the benders bumped the HP on the stock sleds to aprox. 163HP but what happens when we start porting and making major motor mods. Do the bender quads stand up against the howlers or should i go out on a limb and have a custom shop like the crank shop build me a set of pipes´????????????????????????????? Need a little direction here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hauck howlers are not pipes for trail ridding, they are all race pipes only and u will be spinning them from 9800 to 10200 rpm. each and every one different depends on ur set up.so that means a different cdi box. are u racing this sled only or just trail riding?????????????? u need 2 be more specific with what u want it 2 do or should we say what ur whanting out of it.

No more trail riding for this old girl. Going full race. Right now i am running bender quads and bender cdi box. I am changing over to lost ignition system and I want to know is it worth changing from bender quads to howlers quads and what kind of a difference would i be looking at.

Yes it is worth going to the Howlers as long as you are racing. I don't know specific numbers, but it is a big jump. Call Pat at Hauck and tell him you are looking for a set. He may be able to help you.

With all do respect to Pat Hauck I never had much luck with the Howlers..Aaen quads were always my fast ticket..Even on my BB engines the sled flew with tho's pipes..Now this comming season I'am going to have a true improved stock 750..Ported very well by Pat,but I'am running a set of Aaen race quads,9500-9800 rpm pipes..
