well did my first run on Sat, and all i can say is i need more pics..lol.. 96 just won't cut it, had a shity takeoff the light was red when i squeezed the throttle something i will have to work on, it ran a 6.5 at 80 MPR in 500' with 23-37 gears, psi quads and not sure on the jetting.. so now i just loosened the front strap abit and the carbs are coming off.. oh and i took the shelf out of the air box now..i have it on vid and will post it latter.. cheers..:653:just checked jets in it and says 142.5 and 47.5 pilots is this way off..

7.5..

My .02
-sell the quads, use the stock pipes and take the money from the quads to build the sled, you will be further ahead than you are now, and faster, not to mention more reliable for both summer and winter..With the money you can buy alot of studs, gearing, clutching etc.. I have 1" megabites with maybe 2 miles on them, I would sell them to you for half of what Royal charges after tax. ie if it is $2.30 a stud there with tax I would sell them for $1.15. Let me know and I will count them.
-If you decide to keep the quads (which I am sure you will) you need to stud that thing right up and put gearing in it at the very least.

not looking for your set-up if i was i would look it up... the sled pulled hard all the way with no traction, all i asked was with PSI'S do you run 142.5 with them.....

I believe I was running 130's with raised compression and other things on C12 but like I told you before that doesnt really do much to help you. PSI called for 135's as baseline winter jetting back in the day (someone correct me if I am wrong) so you could most likely start with that baseline setup on todays pump fuel for the summer but you need to check your wash.
