Can anyone suggest where to buy carb rebuild parts in Canada?

How about finding a used set of carbs, I see them sell for around $50.00

Good idea. Searched the classifieds but didn't see any but if anyone reading this has some they'd like to part with please let me know.

Actually, while I'm at it I might as well draw on the experience pool browing this forum.
I have not actauly seen the problem first hand but the guy working on my sled just finished rebuilding the motor top to bottem for me and said 2 cylinders keep flooding. He diagnosed this as a worn out or damaged needle and seat. He suggested I pick up at least 2, all 4 if I can.

Does this sound about right? I was ready to go ahead and buy the parts until they told me 40+tax (x 4 carbs). I might be able to get 10-15% off at the local dealer but still...

it is extreamly rare that the seats go bad on theas carbs, did the mechanic do a full carb cleaning I man a compleat teardon of the carbs and a realy good cleaning befor starting the newly rebuilt engine.

Mikkuni Distributor, they supply dealers. Some special OEM modified parts they don't carry. eg. tried to get a 141.3 main jet from them. They only carry 142.5 and 140's. The 141.3 is specific to Yamaha. Needles and seats will be standard. They probably won't recognize the Yamaha part number. Tell they are for Mikuni TM33x flat slides.
