the right side coil just went out on one of our 93 vmax4s today when we were gonna pull it out for the winter..
dennis kirk doesent sell them, i found them online through yamaha but they are back ordered.. id really like to get one soon,
any ideas of where to look for coils would be thoroughly appreciated, coil MUST be new, not used..
THANK YOU in advance for the input!
Dillon
Are you absolutly sure the coil its self is bad? have you done a resistance test on it?

There's a pair of them on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-VMAX-V-MAX-4-750-VMAX4-Coils-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem255d6b4367QQitemZ16048 1100647QQptZSnowmobileQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
Sorry, just re-read your original post. The parts on ebay are used. There was a brand new set last week but they're gone now.
xTreme Powersports says they have them in stock: http://216.37.204.206/xtremepowersports/Yamaha_OEM/YamahaSnow.asp

were sure its bad, its got a short somehow, it sparks on the ground when you pull the motor over
Is the ground wire loose/corroaded?

not loose or corroded. the coil even fried the ground wire. we hooked it up with new wire and it just shot sparks. So the coil must have gone
