under my AZZ!!!
my goodness man..I`m way behind, can`t hardley get motovated on the sleds I need to HURRY UP and get done...

damnit...

once I get these out of here, I have a couple more comming, but atleast I`ll be able to get to one of the vmax 4`s, so I can get the carbs cleaned on one of them anyway....and just to add to the need to get going already..our local news just forecasted a good snow fall this weekend..and you know their always right LOL..so I really need to get some stuff done around here...

I`ll tell ya...things sure are`nt like they used to be when I was a bit younger..man I move slow these days..(except when I`m on my vmax 4!)..LOL

funny how things work..I can spend hours fittling around with putting a sled on the trailer and hooking it up to the car yesterday, but then only spend about an hour working on these sleds..

now, I just came in from the garage for a minute, after starting to make my new ski lock down bar/bolts...
like that`s a priority right now..LOL

the ole lady kinda called me on that one..but then i justified it, by explaining that it`s HER sled that is on the trailer right now, and I have the front of the trailer jacked up a bit so rain, snow etc, will hopefully run off the back of it, but the problem is I could`nt lock down her sled, so it could slide off the back any minute..LOL
now she`s stressing how I need to get the lock down bar issue taken care of ASAP..LOL

Well I got my new longer ski bar bolts made..I added a bit of hieght to the handle part that you hold onto to crank them down..I checked the clearence on my belly pan, and still have all kinds of room to spare, even taking into consideration the front end of the vmax going down a fair amount due to bumps etc...no way these are going to be too tall..unless my vmax 4, has more then 8 inches of travel on the front..and I took a hard enough hit with the trailer to actually have the front of the vmax go down that far....LOL

the handles were made out of an old plain ski runner I had laying around...turned out to be the exact same size rod..
I figure if i really wanna get fancy, one of these days, I`ll chop up an old wooden broom handle, and drill a hole through it lengh ways, then just throw it over the rod, while cranking them down..LOL
