Trailer ideas

Cut up and used truck bed liners to make ski runners in trailer. Not the knock the great manufactures I'm sure what they make is better and easier to put together. However this project to put runners through the whole 27 foot trailer, and both ramps cost approx $40. Not saying I had an original idea, just saying it worked pretty well.

Thats a great idea I think. how did you do it for $40 though? did you get a used bed liner real cheap or something?

i did the same thing 2 years ago. works well. just pick up a used bedliner. check with your local dump or advertise for one in your local paper. i paid $25 for mine.

Thats exactly what I did, local junk yard, $15 each then cut them up on the table saw. I looked for long beds 8'. I have two thicknesses in the trailer, the last one I found was just shy of 1/4 inch thick plastic, which is much nicer.
