Another new guy looking for some help.

Hello, i recently bought a 1994 vmax 600. I was out riding and I shut my sled off to

have a break, but when i started it again my gas gauge does not work any more?? I have

taken a quick look at the wiring under the hood and everything looks to be ok

(although im not the most mechanically inclined person).the gas guage always reads

empty, so any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

this may sound dumb..but recently, i had an issue with my dash lights, and fuel gauge also if memory serves..anyway, it turns out it was my key switch acting funky..I shot a little WD-40 into the switch, then clicked it all the way on and off a bunch of times, and have`nt had a problem since..worth a try anyway..

Mine reads empty all the time to! lol cuz i can't keep fuel in the piggy!! LMFAO.. but seriously, mine does read empty, checked all the electrical out multiple times, figured it out while checking my fuel level with a flash light one night. looks like my float/sending unit is sitting on the bottom of my tank. Im sure the parts are all in there, just need to pull them out one of these days and see if i can fix it.
