What's up everyone,

I own a 1994, maybe a 1993 750 121 track. First off I want to say I love this Snowmobile, I have never heard more music to my ears than the Vmax4. I bought this sled last year at the end of season, well traded my old boat for it. This sled is in really great shape,3200 Miles and really sounds amazing. to hear go to this link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sx1ERtDPjOc I ripped it across the lake I live on before spring hit. That's why I'm hear. I don't have any picks in my sled so riding it on the wet snow hardly covering the ice was not cool. So, I just picked up a new track with new pics never used real cheap. Tis the Season! Trying to get it on but i can not for the life of me get the "Jack shaft" i think its called out. I have removed all the speedo components, that sides loose. I took off the chain case cover, gears chain, now I'm stuck. I can not get this out. There is a bearing there which I took out the snap ring but bearing wont come out. The shaft moves back and forth its free, but no room to drop it. Please help this amazing sled does not need to be pickless on a lake. im trying to get some pics up soon. Thank you for any assistance. I had a guy who works for yamaha cleaned synchronized carbs ext last year. Im having a hard time getting in touch with him. by the way chaincase is loose, took those bolts out also, Im In Northern Illinois

Just So I know, does that mean everything starting with secondary? or does the case come off a specific way if you know?

Thank you for the link. I did remove all gears,spacers,and chain. Behind the lower gear there looks to be a bearing. I cant seem to pull it out. The shaft wont go far enough to the speedo side for the chaincase side to fall out. im working on pictures

Welcome to the site! :schild27::schild27::schild27:

You can download the service manual for your machine here: http://www.vmax4.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?4779-Vmax-4-750-Service-manual
It shows the axle removal procedure in the Power Train section. You have to remove the axle nut, washer, bearing, and bearing holders (stamped metal circles) from the speedo side.
