Found a used set of Bender Twin pipes for a vmax4. Any idea if these would be worth the $$? Twin pipes and comes with Bender silencers, states 10-12hp increase. Would I have to clutch and rejet for this combo? Just wondering if they are worth my time. Robb

I recently took out my rear skid for a general once over and servicing on my '93 V4. I found some of the small plastic bushings in need of replacement. Some are still available direct from Yamaha but I believe it's the front ones that are not. Are these available elsewhere or what are my options...

I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere in this forum but is there any rear skid that would be a direct bolt in that would dramatically improve the ride quality on this sled? Or do new hole have to be drilled no matter what skid is put in? Thanks in advance, Robb

Bought this sled the other week with 984 miles on it. It really needs some underhood detailing and the hood has some cracks in it but with a little elbow grease, this sled will really be nice. I plan on keeping it original and putting a few miles on it every winter just to keep things moving. Robb

I picked up a very nice set of original aluminum VMAX4 skis with the original ski skins this afternoon. I paid $100 for the set. I'm thinking that was a pretty good deal? I know you don't see them everyday.
