My friends got some issues with his. Stoped working he bought a new battery was okay for 5 starts then went dead again. Got someone to look over it and they changed the voltage regulator and still not working. Anyone got any tips on what to do next?

Check the ground wires closley,It happend to me with my tractor of all things.It vibrated loose and would start once in a while.It's worth a look anyway

Its the simple stuff that catches you!!

Had it happen too...........tear everything apart & then find out it is simple.
Look for corrosion in the wire, starter mounting etc.:frech32:
 
I`m not sure what it suppose to be, but I`d check the ACV volts comming from the stator, to see if its up to snuff?

Great tips everyone I'll see if he can bring it by my house. I'm just so busy packing stuff to move soon. But I'm always wanting to help friends out with there machines espacially if there Yamaha sleds.:rockon: I have never messed around with electric start before but always a first time.
