Anyone can help me for my clutch tunning? I have a 92 improver with 800 top end and the engine is full race ports and custom hand pipe suppose to be 195hp+ at 9400-9600 rpm. I have a hauck orange primary with 2 shim 8bu00 weight with 4.5 in both holes 21/39 gearing and 47/39.52/42.52/44.51/43 dalton helix. The track is a 13.5x128 1.375 f7 predator and starting line is a 50ft sand! Thx Kaven

50 feet of sand, hmmm.... I would test with the 47/39, if the sand handles that, step up 51/43. Are you going from sand to grass or snow/ice/etc... Lot of races lost or won right of the line, key. Everything else looks ok. All the best when it comes time.

Is it a radar run, or drags? If drags, mph not the focus, time from A to B, stopwatch. If the HP is correct, watch the secondary is not to loose, as it will pull the belt down to fast. Go with 6/3 and see what happens when you leave sand to snow, if lots of spinning. Test, Test, is the best way to dial it in.
