I bought 2 92 750s a few weeks ago. They seem to be well taken care of and they run good. Compression test on both engines was 130 on all. One has PSI quad and the other PSI twin exhaust. They were a beast to start when it was negative 5 but both started on 2 pulls when it was in the 20s. At idle they smoke like a frozen diesel going up hill. I haven't had them wide open yet, just around the yard. The clutch engages at right around 3000 RPMs on both. I will be removing the Quad exhaust and changing to stock when the parts come in. So considering I don't know much about any mods that may have been made to the clutch, gears or carbs, what service should I have done to the sleds?
Im currently really busy at work so I won't have time to do it myself, will have to take it in to be serviced. I'm anxious to get them on the trails. So any recommendations on what I should ask them to look at?
